Amanda Kay Adam

Amanda’s life began December 28, 1987, in Salina. She is the daughter of Timothy Adam and Myra (Lietz) Adam. Amanda was a 2007 graduate of Herington High School. She had been employed by Salina Regional Medical Center, McPherson Hospital, and area nursing homes in housekeeping. Amanda enjoyed shopping, getting out of the house and listening to her music. She is survived by her mother Myra Adam of Herington, her father Tim Adam of Gardener, grandmother Loretta Lietz of Herington; children Hunter Haws and Noah Adam of Herington; her sister Sandra Adam of Salina and nephews Brody and Brady Zimmerman of Salina. Amanda passed away on Saturday January 24, 2026, at Stormont Vail Flint Hills Hospital in Junction City. She is preceded in death by her daughter Julie Ann Adam- Haws. Her family will gather with friends on Sunday February 1, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. at Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Herington. Her funeral service will be held on Monday February 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Herington. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
