WHITEWATER – Andrew S. “Andy” Cochran, 54, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Newton Medical Center Emergency Room, Newton, Kansas.  He was born in Newton, Kansas, on July 19, 1960, the son of Eugene and Mary (Foster) Cochran, Jr.  He was united in marriage to Dianna Lynn (Fulk) Unruh on October 24, 1993, at the Potwin United Methodist Church.  This marriage would welcome two children into Andrew’s life:  Chad and Madilyn.  He worked at Beechcraft since 1979, most recently in Metal Bonding.  Andrew was an avid collector of pewter, figurines, belt buckles, dolls, stamps and coins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Dianna of Whitewater; step-children:  Chad Unruh of Potwin; Madilyn Unruh and her husband Robert Rocha of Potwin; his siblings:  Eugene III “Butch” of Middleburg, Florida; Rosalie Satterfield and husband John of Andover; Ted of Augusta; Glenn and wife Glennis of Benton; Kathy Cotton of Andover; and Karol Cochran and husband George Loring of Burrton.  Visitation with family will be held from 6 – 8:30 p.m., Friday, at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater.  Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Andover Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established with the Wounded Warrior Project, in care of Lamb Funeral Home, 120 S Main, Whitewater, KS, 67154.
