Cesar Lopez Ramirez

Cesar’s life began on January 8, 2004, the son of Cesar Octavio Meda and Abigail (Ramirez Martinez) Lopez-Ramirez in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a senior at Remington High School and was attending school in Newton to be a welder. He enjoyed playing football in his early years, welding school, and hoped to work with his father someday.

His loving family includes his parents, Cesar and Abigail Lopez-Ramirez; siblings, Angel and Andres Lopez-Ramirez all of Whitewater; grandparents, Jose de Jesus Lopez Gonzales, Elvira Meda Lopez and Santiago Ramirez-Hernandez all of Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ludivina Martinez-Martinez. Cesar Lopez-Ramirez passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 17 years old.

His family will gather with friends on Tuesday, August 24, from 2-4:30 p.m. Rosary at 4:30 with Mass following at 5:30 all at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 421 S. Ash St., Newton, Kansas 67114.
