Dawn Rae Peel

Dawn’s life began on July 25, 1995 in Tucson, AZ. She was the daughter of Donald R. Peel and Paticia (Skinner) McIntire. Dawn was known for selfless heart, always putting others first and lending a hand to friends and family in need. She was the one person people could count on, no matter what. More than anything, Dawn was a devoted and protective mother. Her boys were her world, and she gave them her all, every single day. Dawn will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, strength, and kindness. She is survived by her parents Paul and Patricia McIntire of Herington, biological father Donald Peel of Tucson, her son Matthew Haney of Herington, her siblings April Peel of Herington, Joshua McIntire of Herington Lela McIntire of Junction City, and her grandparents Rick and Diane Skinner of Tucson and many aunts, uncles, cousin, and friends. Dawn passed away May 24, 2025, along with her son Nathaniel and grandmother Peggy Sutton. She is also preceded in death Lela Ellard. Her family will gather with friends on Friday June 13, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Herington First Baptist Church for her memorial service. Yazel Megli Funeral Home is serving the family.
