Dorothy I. Wiebe

WHITEWATER - Dorothy I. Wiebe, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016, at the Kansas Christian Home, in Newton, Kansas. She was born August 14, 1930, in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of  Henry and Kate (Jantz) Unruh. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gene Unruh; and a sister, Kathryn Hiebert. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Wilbert Wiebe, daughters Gail Toevs and husband Russell of Whitewater; Brenda Wuthrich and husband Tim of Whitewater; Deanna Hostetler and husband Calvin of Rocky Ford, Colorado; and a son, Brad Wiebe and wife Mary of Whitewater. She had 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation with family will be held on Wednesday from 6 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, at Emmaus Mennonite Church.  Her Funeral Service will be at 11 o'clock a.m., on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Emmaus Mennonite Church near Whitewater.  A private family interment will be in the Emmaus Mennonite Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to the Mennonite Central Committee or to Emmaus Mennonite Church Missions in care of Lamb Funeral Home, 120 S Main, Whitewater, KS, 67154.  Condolences may be left at www.zeinerfuneralhomes.com.
