Erna “Barbara” Bargas’ life began on August 28, 1930 in Wurtzburg, Germany. She passed away in Bonner Springs, Kansas on November 9, 2021 surrounded by her family in their home at the age of 91. She attended and graduated from High School in Wurtzburg, Germany. She was employed as a custodian to clean houses and the bank at Herington, Kansas. She was married to Lupe Bargas in February of 1963. He passed away in December of 2020. Over the years, Barbara enjoyed bowling and cooking.

Her loving family includes her two children, Thomas Bargas (Heather) of Kansas City, Kansas, Robert Meisner (Doris) of Germany; four grandchildren, Hannah Bargas of Harker Heights, Texas, Jenna Rosales (Mateo) of Bonner Springs, Kansas, Patricia Meisner, and Barbara Bruckner, both of Germany.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no service. The family will have a private family inurnment at a later date.
