Jeff’s life began on March 1, 1954, in El Dorado. He was the son of Artie O. and Leona B. (Morrow) Wilson. Jeff worked at Terra Mara for several years and was a track athlete in the Special Olympics. He had a paper route in El Dorado and spent countless hours watching his chickens and enjoying his favorite foods. Few things were more important to Jeff than the pictures he collected, and he knew exactly where each one was. Jeff also liked watching movies; among some of his favorites were Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang and Mary Poppins (to which he knew all of the songs). He could be found nearly every day watching The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie. Jeff will be remembered for his many sayings, like when he heard a siren, he would say “Get Em Boys”. Jeff will be dearly missed by all his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jeff passed away on Sunday May 10, 2025, at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Lenora Templin, Linda Cummins, and Jerry Wilson. His family will gather with friends on Monday May 19th 2025, at 1 p.m. for his graveside memorial service led by Chaplain John Hull at Sunset Lawn Cemetery, El Dorado. Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater is serving the family. Please sign his online guestbook and leave a memory of Jeff at www.yazelmeglifh.com
