Jessie L. Timm 77, died January 23, 2026, at Aldersgate Assisted Living in Topeka, Kansas. He was born October 30, 1948, the son of Walter and Irene Timm .Jessie was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Shady Brook Woodbine, Kansas. He grew up in the Woodbine community. He attended grade school at Woodbine Kansas. He graduated from Hope High School in 1966. Following high school, he worked as a mechanic for Obermeyer Chevrolet in Herington, Kansas. In 1969 he enlisted in the United States Army. He served three years including one tour in The Vietnam War. He then joined the National Guard of Council Grove later. After discharged from the Army in 1971, Jessie went to work for Ehrsam Factory in Junction City and then to Timm Cabinets in Abilene Kansas. May 2, 1971, Jessie married Marlene Riffel at St. Johns Lutheran Church Lyons Creek Harrington, Kansas. Then later divorced. To this union a son Robbie and a daughter Regina was born. He is survived by son Robbie (Delicia) Timm, daughter Regina (Jared) Last of Topeka, Kansas. Granddaughter Ashley (Jordon) McCallister of Topeka, Kansas granddaughter Tiffany (Tyler) Espinosa of Osawatomie, Kansas. Great granddaughters Charlee, Emily, Olivia Espinosa, Sophia McCallister, and great grandson Harrison McCallister; Brother Leroy Timm of Abilene, Kansas, Niece Amy (Tim) Kohling of Topeka, Kansas, Nephew Kevin (Melissa Sloughter) Timm of Abilene, Kansas. Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Irene Timm, sister-in-law Barb Timm and Grandson Austin L. Timm. Services will be held on Saturday February 21, 2026 at the funeral home.
