Lisa Faith (Vinduska) Wittrig

Lisa Faith (Vinduska) Wittrig, 79, retired inspector for Beechcraft, died on April 28, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 14, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Grant Township Cemetery.  Lisa was born on August 31, 1945 in Marion, Kansas to Vida Mae (Soyez)Vinduska and Sylvester Edmund Vinduska. She was quick witted, exceedingly kind and generous to a fault. She enjoyed sports and had a vast knowledge of her favorite teams; the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots (while led by Tom Brady) and the Wichita State University Shockers Basketball Team. She loved cats, all things Disney, watching movies, football and football talk shows and was a faithful, 60-year fan of General Hospital. Her hobbies were crocheting, watching tv, especially football and shows related to football, computer games and reading. Lisa’s greatest joy was spending time with those she loved, especially her nephew Will, his wife Amanda and their three children, Miekka, Izzy and Leif. After retiring from Beech, she and Ken moved to her Father’s farm in the Flint Hills until moving to Marion in 2020. While living on the farm, she and her Sister Diana had their personal Humane Society, spending countless hours taming over one hundred feral cats that lived there throughout the years so that they could be spayed or neutered. Lisa had a gift of making each person she met feel special. To know her was to love her. And to be loved by her felt like sunshine. Preceded in death by her husband Ken Wittrig. She is survived by her sisters Diana (Larry) Landsverk and Rebecca (Eugene)Koester. Siblings also included William (Candy) Vinduska, Martin Vinduska and 5 nephews. As well as dear friend and neighbor Theodora Koslowsky. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Luke's hospital in Marion, Kansas.
