Wade Gillen

Wade's life began on November 13, 1960, in Kingman, KS.  He was the son of Carl Stickley and Betty (Wolfe) Stickley.  Wade was united in marriage to Marty Toland on August 1, 2016, in Tulsa, OK, after many years together.  He had a love for animals both large and small.  Wade had a lively sense of humor and loved the outdoors and rural living.  He is survived by his husband Marty Toland of Marion, father Carl ( Karen) Stickley, son Jeremey (Debra) Gillen, sister Carla Morris, stepbrothers Ron (Bonnie) and Eric (Jerilyn) Chronister, and stepsister Lisa (Randy) Chronister.  Wade passed away July 4, 2022, in Marion.  He is preceded in death by his mother Betty, and stepbrother Doug (Glenda) Chronister.  There will be a private family celebration at a later date.  Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Marion is serving the family.  Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to Greenwood Stables (Peabody Horse Rescue).  Please sign his online guestbook and leave a memory of Wade at www.yazelmeglifh.com.
