Patricia Ann (Bryant) Schneider, 81, of Herington, Kansas, passed away on June 28, 2026, in Herington. She was born on January 18, 1945, in Herington to Owen and Loretta (Thompson) Bryant. Patricia graduated from Herington High School. She married Galen Schneider on June 30, 1963, at the Presbyterian Church in Herington. They shared 62 years of marriage and raised two sons. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the Christmas season. She was known for making the best hot fudge which was a family favorite and always made strawberry Jell-O with bananas for Emily at the holidays. She also traveled on a couple of trips with her son, Jamie when he was a truckdriver, and always had a story to tell about their adventures. She is survived by her sons, Alan (Julie) Schneider of Burlington and James Schneider of Herington; grandchildren Hailey Brophy of Chapman, Jacob Schneider, Emily (Alec) Smith of Burlington, and Braden Harvey of LeRoy; great-grandchildren Ryan Rae Smith and three additional great-grandchildren; her brother, Steve (Jan) Bryant of Wichita; sister-in-law Debra Bryant of Valley Center; sisters-in-law Betty (Myron) Kline of Lincolnville and Karen (Dennis) Wendtlandt of Herington; brothers-in-law Lonnie Schneider and Gary Schneider of Herington; and half-siblings Dee Lemen of Wichita, Peggy Perry of Hutchinson, and Tom Trezise of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Galen Schneider, her parents; her brothers, Larry Bryant and Jim Bryant; brothers-in-law Norman Schneider and Darrel Schneider; and sister-in- law Jean Schneider. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 114 N. 8th Street, Herington. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Condolences may be left for the family by signing the online guestbook at www.yazelmeglifh.com. Yazel-Megli Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
