Paul Arthur Scrivner

Paul’s life began July 4, 1931, in Newton. He was the son of Ray A. and Crystal (Mossman) Scrivner. Paul was a graduate of Whitewater High School and served his country in United States Air Force during the Korean War. After serving his country, Paul went to work on the railroad as a switchman. He was united in marriage to Neva Baker on January 1, 1953, in Pleasanton, CA. Paul is survived by his children Dennis Redden of CA, and Debbie Larson of Potwin; grandchildren Sam (Mercedes) Redden, Jr, George (Julie) Scott, Clyde (Julie) Redden; great grandchildren Logan Scott, Lucas Scott, Lexie Redden, and Sarina Redden and great great grandchildren Wrenley Scott and Myia Scott and several nieces and nephews. He passed away on February 8, 2026, at Wheat State Manor in Whitewater. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sam Redden, Sr. and grandson Jeffrey Redden. His family will gather with friends on Friday February 13, 2026, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. and Paul will be laid to rest in McGill Cemetery, Potwin. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to Wheat State Manor.
