Roger Lynn Peters

Roger Lynn Peters, 69 passed away at his home on Monday, May 18, 2026. He was born in Hillsboro, Kansas on June 7, 1956, to Harvey Peters and Lillian (Funk) Peters. He was one of four children, along with a sister, Arlene and two brothers, Dwight and Donald.

Roger attended Hillsboro High School and graduated in 1974 and attended one year of Junior College. He was employed as a farmer and a rancher. He loved spending time at the Marion Reservoir and camping.

He was married to Eva David on August 20, 2012, at the Marion Reservoir. Eva passed away on June 4, 2015. With her death, Roger's interest in life seemed to fade and he spent more and more time at home.

Survivors include his sister Arlene and (Al) Hett of Hillsboro, Kansas and a brother Dwight Peters of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

Those who proceeded him in death are his parents, and a brother, Donald Peters.

There will be no service. The family would like to thank those who checked on Roger over the years and provided support to him.
