Rosalie’s life began on January 15, 1938, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Ira and Patricia (Bartholomew) Huls. Rosalie was a registered nurse, training at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. She also worked as a cab driver and in area restaurants. Rosalie is survived by her daughter Theresa Campbell of El Dorado, son Jim “Sonny” Baker of El Dorado, daughter Patricia “Kathy” Nicholson of Kansas; grandchildren Samantha and Daniel Knoll of Moundridge, Rosalie and Brad Thorne of El Dorado, Richard and Yvonne Brown of El Dorado, Michael Campbell of Wichita, Jon Nicholson of Muscogee, OK, Katrina Branstetter of Wichita, Brittany Baker of Derby, Joey Baker of Derby, Jessica Baker of Wichita, Richard Baker of Tulsa, and Alysha Rupp Nichols of Wichita; 21 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren, Michael Ira Huls of Florida and 12 nieces and nephews. She passed away on December 8, 2021, at Pine Village Nursing Home in Moundridge. She is preceded in death by her parents, son William “Buddy” Davis, daughter Sheila Branstetter, son Rocky Burns, grandson William “Billy” Branstetter, sister Jayann Schneider, sister Marie “Toni” Runions, brothers Victor and Danny Huls, two infant brothers, great grandson Aiden Lyle Thorne and nephew Thomas “Buck” Runions. Rosalie will be laid to rest in Lewis Cemetery, Ramona with private rites. Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herington is serving the family.
