Sherry Lynn Lucas

Sherry Lynn Lucas 76 passed away on July 7, 2026 at Wheatstate Manor in Whitewater, Kansas. She was born September 11, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas to James William Lucas and Betty Louise Carter.

She attended Leon High School and graduated in the class of 1967. After high school she attended one year at Green River College in Washington State.

She was employed at Walmart and Kansas Blue Print. She was an avid fisherman and loved to spend time fishing the different areas.

Those who preceded her in death are her parents and a sister Rene Kehres.

Survivors include her brother Mark (LuAnne) Lucas of Leon, 3 nephews and 1 niece.

There are no services planned and memorials may be given in her name to Wheatstate Manor in Whitewater, Kansas.
