Terry Lee Clopton

June 3, 1952 — August 19, 2021

Terry’s life began on June 3, 1952, the son of George “Keith” and Melba Lorraine (Bowers) Clopton in Eureka, Kansas. He graduated from Eureka High School, Class of 1970.


He was an electrician and worked for Bill’s Electric. He loved his family and enjoyed going to the lake, boating, fishing and dancing.

His loving family includes his children, Jason Clopton of Nixa, Missouri, Corie Cook (Doug) of Elbing, Kansas, Adam Clopton (Justina) of Joplin, Missouri, Sara Woodring (John) of Nixa, Missouri, Nicole Clopton of Springfield, Missouri, and Carri Kutz (Justin) of Ava, Missouri; siblings, Pam Gordon (Richard) of Wichita, Kansas, Larry Clopton (Julie) of Eureka, Kansas, Gary Clopton (Betty) of Augusta, Kansas, Kerry Moore of Louisburg, Kansas and Barbara Clopton of Oregon; 18 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant grandson, Kaelon Marsh. Terry Lee Clopton passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the age of 69 years old.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 4, at 2:30 p.m. at the Greenwood Hotel, 116 E. 3rd Street, Eureka, Kansas 67045.
