Scott graduated from Florence High School and later earned a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University, demonstrating an inherent curiosity and love for learning that stayed with him throughout his life.
Throughout his professional life, he worked in media sales, a position that took him on adventures to a diverse range of cities, from Seattle, Washington, to El Paso, Texas. It was these travels that exposed him to a wealth of experiences and friendships, making him an endless source of captivating stories and warm camaraderie.
In his retirement years, Scott made his home in Hutchinson, Kansas, before moving to a nursing home in Brookside, Kansas. Though he never married nor had children, he was surrounded by a close-knit community of friends and relatives who cherished him. His absence leaves a void in the many hearts he touched.

In lieu of flowers, we ask those wishing to honor Scott's memory to share a story or smile in his name, just as he so often did for others.
We remember Scott for the life he lived, the people he loved, and the joy he brought into the world. Though we mourn his loss, we celebrate the remarkable journey of his life. Rest in peace, dear Scott.
