When Carol and Curt moved to Perry, they purchased their home from my parents. Our new home was right next door and I enjoyed many hours getting to know them and their fur babies, Duchess and Fancy. Carol taught me how to ice skate and became a good friend. I will never forget the memories created during that time and what a smart lady Carol was. My sympathy to all of the family. I hope that your cherished memories will help ease the pain of your loss.

I knew Carol at KP and L (WESTAR), working in the Topeka tax department from 1969 to 1974. She was a cheerful, wonderful employee and a caring friend. I am sorry to read that she passed away, but happy to see that she enjoyed her extended family!

I knew Carol from our association with utility property taxation for many years. She was an early pioneer in this field for women. She was past president of the State and National utility property tax associations. She also served on the boards of those organizations for several years. A true professional and a good friend to many. A Jayhawk through and through. I will miss her.
