Clayton Levi Davis

HOPE - Clayton Levi Davis, 27, was born December 5, 1990.  He departed this life on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the home of rural Hope.  He was the son of James Kent and Mintie Katherine (Hope) Davis.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm, on Friday, February  2nd, 2018, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church-Herington, with Pastor Colleen Teeuwe, officiating.

 He graduated from the Herington Learning Center and was active with the Herington Kids Wrestling Club.  He enjoyed frisbee golf, playing games on the computer, and going to the gym and working out.  Hiking, cooking, and spending time with the family were the most important to him.

He is survived by his parents, Jim and Kathie Davis of rural Hope; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Mintie Hope of Altamont, KS; a sister, Shianne E. Davis of Joplin, MO; three brothers, James Max Davis, William Michael “Scott” Davis, Kenny Joe Davis all of Herington; best friend and cousin Tyler Lehmann of Salida, CO, and many other cousins.

The family requests memorials to the Herington Teen Center "Roadhouse" or On the Beach; and may be sent in care of the Zeiner Funeral Home-Herington Chapel,  404 S. Broadway, Herington, KS 67449-3038.
