Doris Marie Ford

Doris M. Ford, 97, passed Sunday June 17, 2018 in Marion.  She was born June 19, 1920 in Marion to Ben and Mary (Ehrlich) Anderson.  She was a lifelong resident of Marion and she  attended schools in Marion.  She was married to Leslie Ford November, 19, 1946 in Marion.  Doris was a homemaker and worked in local restaurants and cooked for Marion schools.  She was a member of the Valley United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leslie in 1990, and brothers Stanley and Dale.

She is survived by a son Bill of Missouri; daughters Mary and Joyce Ford of Marion; a sister Darlene Anderson of San Diego, CA; granddaughter Allison (Darrel) Shults of Marion and three great grandchildren, Bryce, Tori and Chance.

A memorial has been established with the Marion Presbyterian Church to assist young people to attend Westminister Woods Church Camp.
