Dick and Evelyn loved to camp and were members of the "Marionettes" camping group at various lakes in the region at least once a month. They enjoyed camping with their good friends in South Central Colorado. Evelyn enjoyed backyard barbeques with relatives, cooking, gardening, and in the early years of their marriage, she repaired and refinished antique furniture to furnish their home.
