James and Roberta Lacey

James’ life began on July 19, 1938, in Oswego, Kansas. He is the son of Floyd and Anna (Hale) Lacey. He attended Kansas Wesleyan University and was a part of the college football team. James was united in marriage to Roberta (Dains) Hale on January 18, 1969, in Topeka, Kansas. James worked as a Brakeman for the Rock Island Union Pacific Railroad. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing throughout his life.

James passed away on August 26, 2021, in Herington, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Lacey. Inurnment for James and Roberta will take place 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2021, at the Oswego Cemetery, Oswego, Kansas.
