LaVaughn Arlene Klose

Marion - You will never know a more loving, caring, supportive, adventurous, fun, beautiful lady and we were honored to call her Mom, Grandma, and friend. Mom loved life to the fullest. Her belief and love for God, family and friends was her fulfilllment.

We loved listening to her stories of growing up and her life adventures. School days, the Dust Bowl days and even a story about the milk man. She had such a full and exciting life, and her pies--   well, what can we say. They were the best and for 14 yrs she has made a lot of people happy with them.

She was born in Marion October 4, 1927 to Ben and Mildred Christensen. She graduated from Marion High School in 1945. Shortly after she met the love of her life, Eddie Klose and they were married November 30, 1947. They were blessed with two children, Mike Klose and wife Donna of Hillsboro, and daughter, Janel and husband Tom, of Newton. She also had 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son and one sister.

She loved to travel and whether with Dad, family or her dear friends, she never turned down an opportunity.

She was very caring even to people she did not know, but still made them feel special. She did not judge anyone. She was an Angel on earth.

Mom, you are so loved and will be greatly missed.

Your mother was such a beautiful lady with a loveable and caring heart. She became a friend to everyone she met and always wore a lovely smile. Her memories will be remembered and kept close to our hearts. Keeping all of you in my prayers.

Janel, Mike and family, we were so sorry to hear about Lavaughn's passing. Your mother was so full of life and so fun to be around. We will miss the sound of her voice as she was close to our hearts. We will miss her smiles and kindness. We'll never forget the laughs we shared at Sandy Butt Beach or her cooking. Her fryed cat fish, chicken, and pies were out of this world.

Love,

Richard and Brenda

LaVaughn - you were an extraodinary women!!!!!

It seems like just yesterday the Klose Family came to visit Dramer's Laughin Place in northern NM and we are so thankful that she was able to visit us in Albuquerque a couple years ago.

Ever since I first met your mother 49 years ago, I have marveled at what a beautiful soul she is. I always laugh at my dad (Virgil) telling how he and your mom are only 100 days apart in age. :-)
It's never easy to say goodbye to a dear loved one. I am truly sorry for your loss, and will keep you in my prayers. I appreciate how you included her faith in God in the obituary. Such comfort! My love to Mike, Janell, and your families.

Prayers for all. I loved working with her in the vehicle dept. She was the last of all the ladies I worked with when I started there. She taught me to crochet.
