LaVaughn Arlene Klose

Marion - You will never know a more loving, caring, supportive, adventurous, fun, beautiful lady and we were honored to call her Mom, Grandma, and friend. Mom loved life to the fullest. Her belief and love for God, family and friends was her fulfilllment.

We loved listening to her stories of growing up and her life adventures. School days, the Dust Bowl days and even a story about the milk man. She had such a full and exciting life, and her pies--   well, what can we say. They were the best and for 14 yrs she has made a lot of people happy with them.

She was born in Marion October 4, 1927 to Ben and Mildred Christensen. She graduated from Marion High School in 1945. Shortly after she met the love of her life, Eddie Klose and they were married November 30, 1947. They were blessed with two children, Mike Klose and wife Donna of Hillsboro, and daughter, Janel and husband Tom, of Newton. She also had 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son and one sister.

She loved to travel and whether with Dad, family or her dear friends, she never turned down an opportunity.

She was very caring even to people she did not know, but still made them feel special. She did not judge anyone. She was an Angel on earth.

Mom, you are so loved and will be greatly missed.
