Paula J. Jones

Paula’s life began March 27, 1953 in Herington. She is the daughter of Gerald and Vonda May (Haguewood). She is a 1971 graduate of Herington High School and attended Tabor College for two years majoring in history.

Paula was united in marriage to Myron Jones on September 28th, 2002 in Herington. Paula was a avid reader and seamstress, and enjoyed scrapbooking. She was a loyal Kansas City Royals fan, and a baseball card collector. Paula was a member of New Life Church in Herington.

Her loving family includes her husband Myron of Junction City, sisters, Evelyn Hair of Herington and Carolyn Vickroy of Kansas and a host of relatives and friends.

Her family will gather with friends from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, at Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herington, where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. led by Pastor Lorenzo Jackson. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to the ASPCA in care of the funeral home.
