Penelope "Penny" Ruth Brown

Penny’s life began on August 27, 1937, to Cornelius “Tony” and Vera (Bengston) Kraemer in Wadena, Minnesota. She graduated from Wadena High Class of 1955. She graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Morehead Teaching College and started her career at Denver General. Penny also worked at the Lutheran Home and retired from Enterprise Estates in Enterprise, Kansas. She married Albert Brown in 1980 in Denver. She was an avid bird watcher, swimmer, loved music, singing and dancing.

Her loving family includes her daughters, Rebecca (Chris) Bielawski of Denver, Colorado, Bonnie Lyons of Herington and Terri (Robbi) Travelute of Abilene, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Jesse and Calvin Potts, Katie Jones and Alex Bielawski; 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert in 1995; grandson, Arlen Potts; brother, Ted Kraemer. Penny passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the age of 83 years old.
