Ruthann Dies

Ruthann’s life began on February 21, 1943, the daughter of Russell Howard and Dorothy Gayle (Garten) Elliott in Enid, Oklahoma. She graduated from Udall High School in 1961 and attended a Wichita business school to become a CPA. Ruthann married Glendle Lofton and he preceded her in death. She then married Ronald Lee Dies on March 1, 1984 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Her loving family includes her husband, Ron Sr. of Lehigh; sons, Derek Lofton, David Lofton (Angel) of Hillsboro, Ronald Dies Jr. (Denaye) of Lehigh, and William Dies (Robin) of Hillsboro; brother, John Elliott (Barbara) of Independence, Missouri; 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Glendle Lofton and a sister, Nancy Story. Ruthann passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the age of 77 years old.
