Eunice Marlene Christensen

October 28, 1935 — January 3, 2022

Eunice Marlene Boyer Christensen was born in Sioux City, Iowa on October 28, 1935 to Dollman and Alta (Rohmiller) Boyer. She is preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Joanne, and brothers Richard and Robert Boyer. Eunice was united in marriage to Dale Christensen on November 24, 1962. They were happily married for 43 years. She always said “ I am blessed, I found the best man on this Earth.” Dale was an avid farmer and Eunice worked at St. Luke’s Hospital and Living Center for 33 years. Their life revolved around family and friends. Eunice and Dale loved to dance. She loved to read and Dale loved his time with her and with his coffee friends at the pharmacy. Their love for each other will be everlasting. Eunice is survived by three daughters Sherie and husband John Mulvenon and Cynthia Barrett, all of Marion and Cindy and her husband Glen Sisson of Council Grove; her grandchildren Glenda (Curtis) Gowan, Tyler (Dani) Sisson, Jeffrey (Emerald) Moody, Nicole (Chris) Bryant, Kayla ( Brock) McClain, Rachel (Matt) Helmer, Jerel Mulvenon and twelve great grandchildren. There will be a memorial service Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:30 at Marion Christian Church Basement led by Pastor Carl Helm and Eunice will be laid to rest in Marion Cemetery. Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Marion is serving the family. Memorial contributions in Eunice’s name may be directed to the Marion Library or St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary.
