Adam James Thiessen
Adam was born to Wilmer and Alvera (Classen) Thiessen on March 3, 1986, in Newton, Kansas.
He graduated from Berean Academy in 2005 and attended one year at Frontier School of the
Bible in LaGrange, Wyoming. There he met Jenna Eliza Nageotte and they were married on July
21, 2007 in Guysmills, Pennsylvania. Adam enjoyed the outdoors, working with cattle, and
riding horse. His dream from little on was to have a ranch someday. Beyond the normal duties of
operating a ranch, he enjoyed woodworking, welding, and being a member of the NRA. Living
and working on the ranch provided him with one of his greatest joys: spending time with his wife
and kids. He trusted Jesus as his Savior when he was 5 years old and was baptized at Emmaus
Church as a youth. As an adult, he and his family attended Hope Community Church.
His loving family includes his wife, Jenna; children, Wyatt (12), Daniel (9), Cole (8), and
Jeannette (5) Thiessen all of the home; parents, Wilmer and Alvera Thiessen, brothers and their
wives, Doug and Crystal Thiessen, Joe and Charisa Thiessen all of the Whitewater area; sister
and her husband, Karen and Chad Williams of Atlantic, Iowa and many nieces, nephews and
cousins. Adam passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the age of 35 years old.
His family will gather to greet friends on Tuesday, June 22 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a
memorial service following at 11:00 a.m. This celebration of life will be held at Hope
Community Church, 1831 E, 21st Street, Andover, Kansas 67002.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Adam Thiessen Children’s
Memorial Fund in care of Community National Bank and Trust, 207 N. Washington, Burns,

Tina and I are so sorry to hear of Adams passing away. Daren has memories of him as a kid with a lot of mischievous energy! We did not know him as an adult but kept up with his family through various means. This leaves a huge hole in your hearts but we have the hope of heaven and we will be praying for you

Our sympathy goes out to Jenna and the children as well as to Wilmer and Alvera. Ann and I knew Wilmer when he was in his early twenties and looked so much like his son Adam. May God bless and look after the Thiessen family. Les and Ann Flaming

So sorry to hear of his passing! We were high school classmates. Although we weren't friends I remember him well. May he rest in peace with our Lord and may the family find comfort.
