Casey Edward Schardein

HERINGTON - Casey Edward Schardein, of rural Hope, departed this life, Saturday, August 18th, 2018.  He was born July 15, 1992, the son of Edward L. and Iwonne (Odle) Schardein.

Visitation will be Friday evening, August 31st, 2018, at the Zeiner Funeral Home-Herington, from 5:30pm – 8:30pm.

He was employed at Agri Trails Elevator, Navarre location, as feed mill operator. His favorite football team was the Oklahoma Sooners.  He enjoyed playing golf and listening to music. He graduated from Hope High School with the class of 2010.

He is survived by his parents, Edward and Iwonne Schardein of Herington; grandparents, Barbara Ann Todd Shardein of Wichita, Ray Odle (Hoda) of Herington, Hermine Odle of Junction City; two aunts, Debbie Douthit of Junction City, Barbara Gott of Arkansas; uncle, Mike Odle of Abilene; and his cousins, Jordan Gott of Abilene, Megan Gott of Arkansas, Brandon Douthit and Chelsea Villanueva of Junction City.
