She volunteered her time to the Tampa Pride group, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Lady Lions, and was a proud member of the Kansas Democrats. She and Tom enjoyed traveling both in the United States and overseas. Dee was a fashionable go-getter and loved her family and friends, her coffee, the ABC News with David Muir, receiving mail, berries of any kind, decorating for every holiday, reading and the community of Tampa where she lived for the past 40 years. After marrying Tom, she also enjoyed her many years of fun as a member of the Duggan clan. Her loving family includes her children Debra Hall of Gypsum and Darla Hall of Lee Summit, MO; grandchildren Adam and Kaylee Hall; sister Darlene (Ernest) Kite of Bartlesville, OK and many dear friends. Dolores passed away on November 23, 2020 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion. Her family would like to thank Dr. Baxa and the nurses at St. Luke Hospital in Marion and Marion County Home Care Services for their devoted care. Special appreciation also goes to Connie McMahan, Francie Mueller, Kathy Kroupa, Danny Duggan, Eunice Steiner, David Mueller, the Tampa State Bank, the Santa Fe Trail Café and everyone in the community for everything they’ve always done for her. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampa. Yazel-Megli Funeral Homes, Marion is serving the family. I miss my friend with every breath I take. She was a special, kind and generous woman that cared about everyone. She was a social butterfly that loved people and traveling and adventures. She lit up the room when she walked in, she was the life and soul of the party. Dee loved her community and everyone in it. She attended all of the local functions she could and she generously supported the community and businesses in every way she possible could. Dee loved to hear your story and was always interested in what you had to say. The children that came into her life always got special treatment and attention from someone who loved them. Children always loved Miss Dee. Dee had more friends and acquaintances than any one else I know, almost everywhere she went, whether it be local or distant, she would run into someone she knew. Dee's family was her pride and joy. She was so proud of her daughters and grandchildren and loved every chance she got to spend time with them. I will miss my friend every day and am so lucky that she came into my life. Rest in peace my Dear Friend!

You were like a 2nd mom to my twin sis and I for almost our whole life. I am so thankful we saw you in Sept and as always you made it so special. Your daughters are just like you - so generous with their love and kindness. Your infectious smile, laughter and spirit will never be far away and forever in our hearts XOXO

So many memories....talking about new stamps and mailing cards, Tom and Dee being part of the group who founded Tampa Pride and their dedicated support, working together in Lions Club and Sunflower Senior Citizens, the laughter and the tears, visiting about our children and grandchildren. Our sympathy and prayers go to Dee's family as your grieve for your loved one.
