Herington - Lloyd Thornwell Buckner, Jr., 67, was born August 4, 1952, Tampa, Florida, to Lloyd Thornwell and Myrtice Amanda (Weeks) Buckner, Sr. He departed this life unexpectedly Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the V. A. Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Ten years ago he moved from Hope to Herington. He was a television cable layer.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #365 of Hope, and the Nemesis Motorcycle Club.
Survived by spouse, Deborah Goembel of Herington; two sons, Justin Wayne Buckner of Brooksville, Florida, Owen Philip Buckner of York, Pennsylvania; and sisters, Joan Humas, and Dale Calderoni-Brown.
Cremation is planned.
Yazel-Megli-Zeiner Funeral Home-Herington Chapel assisted with funeral arrangements.
